Choice of Location: As the only community colleges in the city of Seattle, Seattle Colleges offers three unique campus environments. North Seattle College is five miles north of the city center in a convenient, semiurban location, just a few minutes from downtown Seattle. Seattle Central College is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood – an urban environment in a lively section of downtown Seattle. South Seattle College is located in a residential neighborhood eight miles southwest of downtown on a hill overlooking the city.
Variety of Programs: Whether you plan to pursue an entire bachelor’s degree or just want to spend a few months studying abroad, Seattle Colleges offers multiple programs so that you can find exactly what you are looking for!
University Partnerships: We have partnered with over 20 universities, so you can begin your studies at Seattle Colleges and have guaranteed admission to a number of universities throughout the USA. Even with guaranteed admission, you can always change your mind!
Flexibility Within Programs: Students in most of the programs at Seattle Colleges have the opportunity to choose elective classes. This means that students can take classes that don’t directly relate to their intended major or subject area.
Programs and Courses
University Transfer: By enrolling in our University Transfer program, you can complete the first two years of your bachelor’s degree, save thousands of dollars while enjoying small class sizes, personal instruction, and leadership opportunities from an award-winning institution. Then, transfer to the four-year university or college of your choice as a third-year student.
Study Abroad or Gap Year: Choose between 3, 6, 9, or 12-month sessions in a variety of subjects. These programs include: Business in a Global Society, Computer Science and Technology, Cultures and Communication, General Studies, and MBA Preparation.
High School Completion Plus: Although Seattle Colleges is an institution of higher education, we do offer a High School Completion program for mature students who have finished at least 1.5 years of high school. In this unique program, you earn both an associate degree and a Washington state high school diploma in just two years!
Intensive English: For students who would like to improve their English skills, we offer programs through our Institute of English. At the intermediate level, you can begin to take college-level classes with American students as well as English classes.
